June 21, 2013 (Alpine) – The American Cancer Society’s Alpine Relay for Life begins at 8:00 a.m. at Joan Mac Queen Middle School, 2001 Tavern Road, Alpine. Get a group of friends, family, or co-workers together as a Relay team and get ready for 24 hours of fun, excitement with music, food contests, awards and prizes. Participants can choose to walk or run the relay.
The event will honor the courageous spirit of those battling cancer. An evening luminaria ceremony will honor those who lost their battle to cancer or are currently on a cancer journey.
