4TH OF JULY PICNIC AT ALPINE VIEW LODGE TO BENEFIT ALZHEIMER'S

July 2, 2014 (Alpine) --Team Alpiners  will celebrate our nation's birth while hosting a  fundraising barbecue and bake sale from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the Alpine View Lodge, 973 Arnold Way in Alpine.

“We will be grilling up an all American menu of Burgers, Dogs and Ribs with all the fixin's.  We plan on spreading out all over our lawns and enjoying the gorgeous day and beautiful, country views of Alpine,” a press release reads.

A $10.00 donation per person is requested, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer's Association Walk To End Alzheimer's.

The Lodge will also be hosting it's second bake sale during the barbecue.  You will be able to load up on delectible brownies, designer cupcakes, personalized Amaretto/almond and Kahlua bundt cakes, giant cookies and even gluten free baked items for your fireworks that very evening. 

A raffle will be held with a week in Las Vegas as the grand prize.

You must RSVP by Thursday, July 3, 2014 with the number in your party for the BBQ.  The bake sale is available all day with no RSVP needed. 

The group cleared over $1,000.00 with its last bake sale on Memorial Day and aspires to top $25,000 by year’s end. Contributors can also give by going on line and giving at the following link  - http://act.alz.org/goto/alpiners
