ALL LANES OF WESTBOUND I-8 TO CLOSE AT I-5 INTERCHANGE THIS SUNDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT

May 22, 2017 (San Diego) - All lanes of westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) at the Interstate 5 (I-5)/Rosecrans Street interchange will close Sunday and Monday night from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work, according to Caltrans. All of the connector ramps to northbound and southbound I-5, as well as access to Rosecrans Street, will remain open.  

Westbound I-8 motorists will be detoured to the northbound I-5 connector ramp to the Sea Word Drive off-ramp, continue west on Sea World Drive to Sunset Cliffs Boulevard. 

Caltrans reminds drivers to Be Work Zone Alert by avoiding distracted driving, paying constant attention to traffic ahead, and slowing down when approaching work zones.
