August 18, 2014 (Lakeside) – A woman who crashed into a parked car in Lakeside, then fled the scene by jumping down 30 feet into a concrete drainage ditch, has been arrested and charged with drunken driving.
Michelle Taylor, a 40-year-old El Cajon resident, sustained a head injury and broken bones in her unsuccessful getaway attempt. She was treated at a hospital and later arrested.
The owner of the Dodge Durango struck by the out-of-control vehicle on Los Coches Road early this morning has no sympathy for the driver. “If you’re going to do something stupid, then karma will get you,” she told 10 News.
