President of S.D. Archaeological  Society to Speak

 

September 19, 2010 (Alpine)--The Alpine Historical Society will have an Italian Dinner on Sunday October 17th at 5pm. This dinner is open to the community and provides an opportunity to learn more about historic Alpine.

 

It will be held at the Alpine Woman’s Club, 2156 Alpine Boulevard. The Italian dinner includes hot Italian dishes, garlic bread, salad, luscious deserts and a drink. The cost is only $8 for adults and $5 for children. Following the dinner Richard Carrico will be their be their featured speaker.

Richard Carrico is President of the San Diego Archeological Society. He has spoken to many Historical Societies in San Diego County and is considered quite knowledgeable and an excellent speaker. He will be talking about his book and life's work, Strangers in a Stolen Land. He is on the web and has a bio and book description on the Sunbelt Publication site.
