September 7, 2015 (Spring Valley) – The San Miguel Fire Protection District is offering a free disaster preparedness training course for its Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). Classes will be held on four Saturdays Oct. 17-Nov. 7 at the San Miguel Fire District Headquarters, 2850 Via Orange Way in Spring Valley from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you are interested in being part of this dynamic and vital program, you must be at least 18 years of age and live and/or work in the San Miguel Fire District.

CPR/AED and Introduction to Disaster Preparedness

CERT Organization/ Incident Command Structure (I.C.S)

Fire Safety

Disaster Medical Operations I & II

Light Search & Rescue Operations / Cribbing

Disaster Psychology

Terrorism

Disaster Simulation/Graduation
