ARRESTS MADE IN LEMON GROVE ARMED ROBBERY

December 1, 2011 (Lemon Grove) – The San Diego Sheriff announced the arrest yesterday of two suspects and recovery of property from an armed robbery in Lemon Grove. The theft occurred November 28 at approximately 10:36 a.m. at MobileCom in the 7900 block of Broadway.

The first suspect was described as a black male juvenile 5’10”‐ 6'00'', thin-build, wearing a dark colored hoodie, a mask and dark shorts. This suspect was carrying a silver handgun. The second suspect was described as a black male juvenile, wearing a dark colored hoodie, and dark pants.

 

Both suspects entered the front door of the business and the suspects grabbed several cell phones from a case near the front counter and from the rear of the business.

 
Both ran out the front door and entered a black compact car; where a black female accomplice was waiting. No shots were fired and no one was injured. Deputies searched the area, but the suspects could not be located.
 
On November 30, detectives from the Lemon Grove Sheriff’s Station conducted an investigation that led to a residence in the City of San Diego. Two subjects were contacted and detained during the search. Property taken in the Lemon Grove robbery was recovered at the residence along with numerous items of electronics from at least four residential/commercial burglaries. One of the subjects taken into custody is a juvenile and the other is an adult by the name of Eric Leroy Davis, age 18. Both have been charged with possession of stolen property,
