October 16, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State women’s soccer continued Mountain West play today against Utah State after a blackout of Boise State on Friday night.

After 29 minutes of scoreless play, Utah State broke the tie with a goal that went off the post and in and the Aggies went up 1-0.

In the second half, the Aztecs’ Victoria Barba tied the game on a free kick in the 62nd minute and it was a new ballgame. We were five minutes away from going to overtime when Barba saved the day with the go-ahead goal to give the Aztecs the 2-1 win.

Next up for the lady Aztecs footballers is a trip to Fort Collins, Colorado on Friday to take on Colorado State.  Game time is at 2 p.m.
