BEARDED MAN ROBS U.S. BANK IN EL CAJON

April 15, 2012 (El Canon) -- At 2 p.m. on Friday April 13, a man with long, dark hair and a full beard held up the U.S. Bank at 490 Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon.  According to Lt. J.D. Arvan with El Cajon Police, the suspect was white, in his mid- to late-40s, 6 feet tall with a medium build. He wore a black leather jacket, sunglasses and a blue bandana.


The suspect gave the teller a demand note.  The teller complied and the man fled out the front doors with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen on foot heading north on Pioneer from the bank parking lot. No weapons were seen or simulated.
