BLUE CHEVY SILVERADO SOUGHT IN FREEWAY SHOOTING

April 26, 2017 (San Diego) – The California Highway Patrol seeks witnesses to a shooting last night at 9:25 p.m. on the ramp from Interstate 805 southbound to State Route 94 eastbound.  Several shots were fired, striking a vehicle several times though fortunately no one was injured.

According to the male victim, the suspect vehicle tailgated him before the transition, then pulled alongside the passenger side and opened fire.  The suspect vehicle, driven by a black male adult, was described by the victim as a dark blue, regular cab Chevy Silverado pickup from the late ‘90s to early 2000s.  There was also a black male passenger in the suspect vehicle.

The victim took westbound State Route 94 after the shots were fired and pulled onto the right shoulder near Home Avenue, where he discovered that his vehicle had been struck several times.  He called 911.

The suspect vehicle took off eastbound on State Route 94.
