September 8, 2014 (Borrego Springs) – The 49th annual Borrego Days Desert Festival will take place October 24-26. Admission is free to this one-of-a-kind event, which welcomes snowbirds to the desert warmth at the start of the fall season.
Activities include a parade complete with floats, bands, dancers and equestrians; flyover, live entertainment on the Main Stage, and a car show. Kids will enjoy a carnival fun zone with inflatable water slides, obsticle course and bull ride. Visitors can also shop at arts and craft vendors, savor foods including gourmet food truck items, beer and beverage garden.
All of this takes place in a party filled atmosphere that’s fun for the entire family, located in the middle of town at the historic Christmas Circle Community Park, 600 Christmas Circle Drive in Borrego Springs.
Hours are Friday 5-9 p.m, Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce.
