Action follows fraud investigation, impacts Borrego Health clinics across East County

August 31, 2022 (Borrego Springs) -- On Friday, Aug. 19, Borrego Health’s administrative offices, individual clinics, and others outside of the organization were notified by the State of California Health and Human Services Agency – Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that the state intends to reimpose its 100% payment suspension on all Borrego Health Medi-Cal services beginning Sept. 29. 2022

Open House on March 25th Will Show Off New Family Practice, Build Out of 2nd Floor

March 25, 2016 (El Cajon) - Borrego Health announced the completion of the build-out of its flagship East County location in El Cajon, commonly known as Centro Medico El Cajon.   The completed project will increase capacity by up to 40%.  The El Cajon location currently sees 250 to 275 patients per day.

April 8, 2015 (El Cajon )—Borrego Health, a community health center with clinics throughout our region, will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, April 11th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its new location at 133 West Main Street in El Cajon.
