March 9, 2013 (East County)-- Multiple resources responded to a brush fire Sunday afternoon with multiple  ignition sources locations at Highway 94 and Barrett Junction on Sunday. The blaze approximately an acre and had four start-up points, including one over an old burn.

Highway 94 was closed briefly between Barrett Lake Road and Summit as firefighters extinguished the blaze.

It is not yet known if the fire was caused by a vehicle, a common cause of multiple-ignition blazes along highways, or if arson may be involved.
