BUNGLED BURGLARY ENDS WITH TWO ARRESTS

November 19, 2010 (La Mesa) Two prowlers found themselves confronting a startled homeowner after prying off a window screen at a La Mesa residence today. The attempted break-in occurred at 4251 Woodland Drive shortly after 1 p.m.  The suspects were arrested a short time later.

The suspects ran to a Silver Nissan Sentra and drove off. La Mesa Police officers saw the suspect car being driven a few blocks away on Moisan Way. at Garfield Street and initiated a traffic stop. Both suspects were subsequently positively identified by the home owner.

 

Brian William Paznokas and Ryan Izumi, both 19 and from El Cajon, were arrested and booked into County Jail on residential burglary charges.
