January 14, 2016 (San Diego) - Mike McCoy is continuing to rebuild the Chargers' coaching staff, adding Jeff Davidson as offensive line coach, KUSI's Paul Rudy reports.

Davidson was the offensive line coach for the Minnesota Vikings for five years.  He and Mike McCoy were on the same coaching staff with the Carolina Panthers before Davidson's Vikings stint.

In other Chargers news, cornerback Jason Verrett will play in the 2016 Pro Bowl on January 27th.  Verrett was an alternate who will replace Darrelle Revis, who is injured. Verrett is the first Chargers cornerback to play in the Pro Bowl since Antonio Cromartie in 2008.
