CHILD, WOMAN INJURED IN ROLLOVER; DRIVER CHARGED WITH DUI

August 27, 2011 (San Diego) – A Ford Explorer traveling northbound on Aldine Drive struck a curb while merging onto Fairmont Avenue and rolled over several times, San Diego Police report.

 

A 4-year-old girl was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital for suturing of numerous lacerations; she was not in a car seat and was not wearing a seatbelt. A two-year-old in a booster seat was uninjured.

 

A 23-year-old female passenger also suffered an abrasion on her right forearm. The 27-year-old male driver was arrested for felony driving under the influence. He was not injured.
