CHRISTIAN DATING RAPIST SENTENCED

November 7, 2014 (El Cajon) – A man convicted of raping two women he met on ChristianMingle.com, a dating site for Christians, has been sentenced to 37 years to life in prison by Superior Court Judge Daniel Goldstein in El Cajon.

The Judge said Banks’ “hatred for women is appalling,” based on statements Banks made to investigators.

The prosecutor, David Williams III, called banks a sexual predator who has shown no remorse for the violent assaults on two women, including one from La Mesa.

Gloria Allred, a prominent women’s rights attorney, was in court with one of the victims, UT San Diego reports.  She urged women to be aware of the risk of online dating and asked that other victims of predators met through such services report attacks promptly to authorities.
