CHRISTINA WALKER, ROCKIN' CW RANCH, NAMED TO NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DISTINGUISHED PROFESSIONALS

April 9, 2014 (Pine Valley) — Christina Walker, Owner and Founder of The Rockin’CW Ranch and Splash of Passion LLC, has been selected as an Honored Member of the National Association of Distinguished Professionals.  The selection recognizes Christina Walker’s commitment to excellence in Hospitality and outdoor recreation.

As owner of The Rockin’ CW Ranch, Christina Walker decided that she wanted also to share her love of riding horses with others by starting a sustainable business that support her passion of both horses and people. 

Opening Splash of Passion in 2012, Ms. Walker oversees daily management of both organizations.  Along with managing the businesses, she personally handles each and every client of Splash of Passion, ensuring that they have the highest quality experience with the greatest benefits possible facilitated through her program.  Ms. Walker specializes in animal welfare and behaviors and spends time building strong foundations in the animals she selects to inspire humans.

“Early on, I worked at the information booth at the San Diego Museum of Natural History, which gave me a strong sense and curiosity of San Diego history,” Ms. Walker explained.  “Founding my own non-profit organization has helped me identify and assist domestic violence victims, giving me great experience in management and working with people.  With these tools, I truly feel I can be a valuable asset to the county.”

Ms. Walker regularly contributes to many organizations and causes dear to her heart, strengthening her organization’s relationship with other entities and enabling Splash of Passion to become more knowledgeable and efficient at what they do.  She is also a member of Tijuana River Valley Equestrian Association, is a backdrop designer for The San Diego Zoo’s annual event, “Rendezvous in the Zoo”, and volunteers with The Bureau of Land Management, where she helps with trail maintenance in their local Cleveland National Forest.  She also participates locally with organizations like Mountain Empire Men’s Club and The Camp Lockett Event and Equestrian Facility.  The Rockin’ CW Ranch is also currently creating a clinical course that will facilitate learning experiences between humans and horses that will explore these distinctive relationships, which are a basis for Splash of Passion.
