SHERIFF SEEKS HELP TO ID BORREGO SPRINGS HOMICIDE VICTIM FOUND IN 1985

Victim had a coyote tattoo and the word “life or wife” on his left forearm, as well as “Linda” and “Gypsy” on his right forearm.
 
April 9, 2024 (Borrego Springs)—The San Diego Sheriff is seeking public help to identify the victim in a cold-case homicide. The man’s body was found Saturday, October 26, 1985 on State Highway 22, between mile post markers 37 and 38 in the Borrego Springs area. The body was located down a steep embankment on the north side of the road.
