ALPINE LIBRARY ANNOUNCES JANUARY EVENTS

January 1, 2013 (Alpine)--The Alpine branch of the San Diego County Library announces its calendar of events for January.  View the full calendar here.  Below are highlights, including visits with a therapy dog, a hands-on archaeology project, and book talks complete with bagels and books:

Tues. 1/15 – RUFF Readers – 3:30 pm Read to Cabo, a Therapy Dog; sign-up for a 15-minute slot by calling  619-445-4221. Age 5+ welcome! Walk-ins are OK.

Thurs. 1/17Project Archaeology – 2-part program by the San Diego Archaeological Center; 3-5 pm Tween/Teen Hands-on Workshop/ 6-7 p.m. Instructional Program for Adults (parents, your age 10+ child OK to bring along)

Sat. 1/26 – Bagels & Books – 10:00 a.m. Enjoy book talks by guest Librarians while you munch on bagels. Books are available for check-out. (Adult program)

The Alpine Library was named the County’s 2012 Library of the Year.
