LOCAL PAGEANTS TO HOLD 3RD ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER AUGUST 14

August 5, 2011 (La Mesa)--The Miss San Diego Cities, Miss San Diego, Miss Greater San Diego, Miss La Mesa and Miss Santee pageants are teaming up to hold the third annual Fashion Show Fundraiser “Rockin’ SD County Fashion” benefiting all of the pageant’s scholarship funds.

The Fashion Show will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the La Mesa Community Services Arbor Room at 6:00 p.m. The models will consist of former contestants and titleholders in the various pageant programs and wardrobe will be provided by local businesses. The fashions will feature clothing perfect for back to school, homecoming dances or a day at the races. There will also be live music from the popular east county band, Ramshackle.

The fashion show is open to the public and includes a silent auction and dessert reception. Tickets are $10 each in advance and $20 each at the door.
