DEAD WOMAN FOUND IN BURNING VEHICLE AT UCSD

October 30, 2010 (UCSD) – San Diego firefighters found the body of a woman inside a burning vehicle in a parking lost at the University of California, San Diego, after responding to 911 calls made by several citizens at 9:20 p.m. last night. San Diego Police Department homicide unit detectives are investigating the death.

 

The parking lot was located in the 3600 block of Voight Drive. Channel 8 News reported that a search of the area on foot and by helicopter was conducted. Firefighters found the body after putting out the fire. The victim has not been identified, and the cause of her death is not yet known. An autopsy has been scheduled for this morning.
