DEMOCRATIC DEBATE OCT. 13 COULD INCLUDE BIDEN, CNN SAYS

October 6, 2015 (Washington D.C.)--The first debate among Democratic presidential candidates will take place on Tuesday. October 13th, moderated by CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper with additional questions to be posed by other CNN correspondents.

The debate could include as many as six candidates.  In addition to the front-runners, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Senator Bernie Sanders,  CNN has indicated that Vice President Joe Biden will be included if he declares his intent to run even as late as the day of the debate.

Other Democrats invited to participate are former Massachusetts Governor Martin O’Malley, former Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, and former Virginia Senator Jim Webb, all considered long-shots based on poll results average just over 1% each.

The debate hosted by CNN and Facebook be held in Las Vegas and is set to air at 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
