July 28, 2016 (Descanso) – Sheriff’s deputies from the Pine Valley and Alpine stations responded to a report of a man shot in Descanso last night at 6:30 p.m. Arriving at 6535 Japatul Highlands Road, deputies found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported by air to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery for his wounds.
“There are no suspects at large and the investigation is ongoing,” said Detective B. Farr.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888)580-8477. You can remain anonymous and be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to a felony arrest.
