January 20, 2012 (San Diego's East County) -These shelter dogs have been provided training to become dream dogs for individuals or families. This month, we have several wonderful dogs to choose from, from pups to mature pets, and one bird.

This two-year-old cattle dog is 100% obedience trained and fetches the ball like a professional. He is looking for a ranch or home where he can protect the property. He will bond very closely to his future family.

This miniature poodle is sweet and fun, and loves dogs and kids. He would make an excellent family dog or companion.

We also have birds! The love bird is looking for a loving home.

This pug-corgi mix is gentle and sweet. He would love to hike a mountain, or curl up next to his future owner while watching a movie.

This schnauzer mix is extremely proud of his ability to stay to have his picture taken. He has completed his training twice, and a lucky person or family will receive a loyal, well-behaved dog.

We also have a cute, tiny cocker spaniel (with one blue eye!), a yorkie mix and an 8-week-old border collie puppy.
