DRUG HOUSE SHUT DOWN IN LAKESIDE

July 10, 2015 (Lakeside) – A drug house in Lakeside has been raided and the property condemned, Sergeant David Hale with the Sheriff’s Department reports.  County Sheriff’s deputies from the Lakeside substation, aided by the Sheriff’s special enforcement detail and ASTREA helicopter served a search warrant at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at 9001 Creekford Road.

Ten adults were arrested and booked into the Las Colinas detention facility and San Diego Central Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sales, felon and misdemeanor warrants, and for possession of drug paraphernalia.  A Butane honey oil lab and a half-pound bag of methamphetamine were found in the residence.

The owner will be charged with operating a drug house. The County’s Hazardous materials team found the residence was uninhabitable and the property was condemned.

Investigators from the Lakeside substation, The County’s Department of Environmental Services/Hazardous Material Team, and the Department of Health and Human Services participated in the enforcement. The investigation is continuing.
