AFTER 20 YEARS, PUBLISHER CLOSES EAST COUNTY HERALD NEWSPAPER

September 6, 2018 (San Diego’s East County) – Dee Dean, owner of The San Diego County Herald LLC, publisher of The East County Herald, a weekly community newspaper with a circulation of 15,000, has announced her retirement due to her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis. Dean also has ceased publishing the Herald with the final edition on Thursday, Sept. 6, which is the 20-year anniversary of her first edition.
