EL CAJON POLICE TO HOLD FIVE COMMUNITY FORUMS STARTING OCTOBER 5TH

September 29, 2011 (El Cajon) -- El Cajon Police Department will hold five Sector Watch Community Forums starting in October.  Previous meetings have been very well received and will again involve all five sectors in the City. This is a n opportunity for residents to ask Police and other City department representatives questions,  voice any concerns about your neighborhood, or say “thank you” for a job well done.  You can also sign up for a Neighborhood Watch program. All meetings will be from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. 

 
Each meeting will include a presentation (approximately 20 minutes) and a question/answer period. Police Community Forums are scheduled for the following sectors: 
 
Sector 6 - October 5 - Hillside Park - 840 Buena Terrace, topic:  Prescription Drug Abuse
 
Sector 7 - October 12 - Bostonia Elementary - 1390 Broadway, topic:  Identification Theft
 
Sector 8 - October 19 - First Presbyterian Church - 500 Farragut Circle, topic:  Graffiti 
 
Sector 9 - October 26 - Meridian Elementary - 651 South 3rd Street, topic:  Community Involvement 
 
Sector 10 - November 2 - El Cajon Police Station - 100 Civic Center Way, topic:  Crime Free Multi-Housing
