May 30, 2015 (El Cajon) – Looking for some fun activities to keep the kids fit and entertained this summer? The City of El Cajon is announcing some creative week-long camps for kids including Hawaiian Adventure Indoor Soccer Camp, Super Hero Camp, Alien Invasion Dodgeball Camp, Zany Zoo Camp, and Little Kickers Indoor Soccer Camp. Hawaiian Adventure Indoor Soccer Camp
Enjoy the summer at Hawaiian Adventure Indoor Soccer camp. Learn basic skills and strategies of indoor soccer and how to use the walls to your advantage. There will also be other fun activities planned throughout the week, and a barbeque on the final day. The camp is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The cost is $105 for nonresidents and $90 for residents. The camp is scheduled from June 22 to 26, and will be held at Hillside Community Center located at 840 Buena Terrace. Super Hero Camp
Calling all super heroes between the ages of 6 and 12 years old - Hillside Center is looking for the next great super hero! Campers will learn to be as agile as Spiderman, fly like Superman, and move faster than the Flash himself, all in a fun and safe environment. Each day is packed with super hero themed games, crafts, water sports, and surprises galore. The camp is from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The fee is $105 for nonresidents and $90 for residents. The camp is scheduled for June 29 - July 3 and is held at Hillside Community Center located at 840 Buena Terrace. Alien Invasion Dodgeball Camp
Dodgeball Camp is back, this time with an Alien Invasion theme! Campers will be catching, ducking and of course dodging their way to an “out of this world” fun time. Each day is going to be packed full with awesome dodgeball games, arts & crafts, cooking and games. The dodgeballs are made of low density foam with a “no sting” cover to ensure safety while having a blast. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. The fee is $105 for nonresidents and $90 for residents. The camp is scheduled from July 6 through July 10 and is held at Hillside Community Center located at 840 Buena Terrace. Zany Zoo Camp
Come join the fun at Zany Zoo day camp! Campers will have an amazing time playing games, learning about animals, making friends, and doing arts & crafts. The camp is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The fee is $105 for nonresidents and $90 for residents. The camp is scheduled from July 13 through July 17 and will be held at Hillside Community Center located at 840 Buena Terrace. Little Kickers Indoor Soccer Camp – NEW
Hillside will be offering a new half day camp for 4 - 6 year olds. Sign up your athlete for Little Kicker Indoor Soccer Camp! City staff will create a fun environment while children develop their soccer skills by participating in exciting new drills, fun camp games, arts and crafts and so much more! The camp is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The fee is $70 for nonresidents and $55 for residents. The camp is scheduled from July 20 through July 24, and is held at Hillside Community Center, located at 840 Buena Terrace.
