EVENTS ABOUND AT ALPINE LIBRARY IN JUNE

June 7, 2012 (Alpine) – The Alpine Branch of the San Diego County Library at 2130 Arnold Way has a variety of events for planned for the month of June.  For infants and toddlers story time is held on Wednesday’s from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. including Local Heroes Storytime on June 13 when Alpine’s Postmaster will be the guest reader.

For grade-schoolers the Summer Reading program will feature Dream Big with Science on June 30 at 11:00 a.m.  Activities will include a volcanic eruption, an ice-cold explosion of fog and a rocket car.

Tweens and teens can learn about Henna tattoos as part of the Summer Reading Program on June 28.  The tattoo will last up to 3 weeks so parental permission is required for this event.

Adults and seniors can relax outside on June 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and enjoy the Outdoor Jazz Concert with Adrienne Nims and “Spirit World”.
