May 18, 2018 (El Cajon) – Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Hacienda Casa Blanco opened up its new outdoor patio earlier this month.  The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the occasion, where  Chamber members savored margaritas, festive music and authentic Mexican dishes.

I ordered the carne asada quesadilla, served to perfection, on a sunny patio that also offers up plenty of shade at umbrella-topped tables.  Flower baskets add bright splashes of color, while outdoor lighting adds evening ambience at El Cajon’s newest outdoor dining hot spot.

Owners Antonio “Tony” and Cindy Gomez enjoyed a dance to the music of Santana Pa Ti at the celebration and offered up toasts in celebration.

The restaurant features fine dining indoors indoors and out, with Antonio’s Cantina another option in addition to the spacious new patio.

Representatives from elected officials’ offices including Congressman Duncan Hunter and State Senator Joel Anderson were on hand to present commendations to Hacienda Casa Blanca, a long-standing restaurant in the community.  Chamber President Eric Lund and local beauty queens were also present for the occasion. El Cajon Councilmembers Steve Goble and Ben Kalasho  praised the owners and also welcomed the new outdoor dining addition to East County.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in a fun and festive setting,  Hacienda Casa Blanca is worth your while to visit.
