May 25, 2010 (San Diego) -- The new San Diego County Library Acoustic Showcase offers a wonderful variety of some of San Diego's very best singer/songwriters, folk music performers and story tellers.

These concerts are FREE to the community and include locations in East County.  The following are upcoming concerts for June 2010.

Charles Johnson
Saturday, June 19 - 10:30 AM - family show
Santee Branch

"His child-like manner and desire to educate and entertain his audience have led Charles Johnson to performing for children and adults at libraries, schools, festivals and private homes throughout San Diego County."

Larry Robinson
Sunday, June 27 - 5:00 PM
Fallbrook Branch

Old California Town is Larry Robinson's first solo CD and is inspired by life in California. From the tip of Baja up through Northern California, these songs evoke pictures of places he's been and the times he's had. He shares those experiences with the listener in his smooth, deep, soulful voice and simple, all-acoustic musical accompaniment.
