FREE READINGS IN JAMUL ON FIRST SATURDAY EACH MONTH

June 3, 2011 (Jamul) --There will be a free reading this Saturday of "Triangle: The Fire That Changed America"" by Joel Castellaw. The haunting story of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company Fire of March 25, 1911 is told. This horrific event changed labor laws throughout the United States, and is a powerful, historic story.

 

 

 

Mr. Castellaw decided to become and educator when he was a student at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California, where he fell in love with the Community College system and its mission to provide a quality education to anyone who wants it. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Speech Communication from San Diego State University. He likes teaching Communication coursesbecause they give students practical skills that are useful no matter what a person is pursuing in life.

 

Free readings take place on the first Saturday of each month. Arrive at 4:30 for light dinner, readings begin
