FREE WORKSHOP FOR NEW ENTREPRENEURS ON "BUSINESS SUCCESS"

July 11, 2011 (East County) --The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District’s (GCCCD) Continuing Education and Southwestern College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a free workshop on “Checklist for Business Success” from 7 to 9 a.m. on Friday, July 15, at the East County Chamber of Commerce office, 201 S. Magnolia Ave., El Cajon. 

Teaching the workshop will be Merrily Chopp from SBDC. No pre-registration is required, but seating is limited. The workshop is ideal for the entrepreneur who has decided to start a business and what type of business will be launched.

The workshop will cover such topics as filing for a fictitious business name and other permit requirements, the basics of financing a new small business, choosing a business structure and starting a business plan.
