August 25, 2012 (San Diego) -- The San Diego Latino Film Festival is proud to present its 13th annual Cinema en tu Idioma Fall Film Series showcasing the best of Latin American, Mexican, and Spanish Cinema! 


Cinema en tu Idioma continues September 7 - 13 with Un Cuento, a comedy starring superstar Ricardo Darin! Winner of the Audience Award at SDLFF 2012, Un Cuento Chino will screen at UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center (off 163 Freeway & Friars Rd.).

Un Cuento Chino: Ricardo Darin stars as Roberto in this wild fish-out-of-water comedy, a lonely hardware store owner who collects clippings of bizarre news from around the world. One day, Roberto meets a Chinese emigre named Jun who doesn't speak Spanish and seems lost amidst a foreign culture. After Roberto decides to help Jun locate his surrogate family, the two become unlikely friends as each man's past history is unveiled over time.

Un Cuento Chino will screen for one-week only exclusively at UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center. Daily screening times are: 11:30am, 1:45pm, 4:00pm, 6:15pm, 8:30pm, and 10:45pm (Sat. & Sun).

SDLFF's Cinema en tu Idioma runs August through October 2012 at UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center (off 163 Freeway & Friars Rd.). 

In October, Cinema en ti Idioma is proud to bring back Carlos Saura’s hypnotic performance film Flamenco, Flamenco, an audience favorite from SDLFF 2011.Flamenco, Flamenco will screen October 5-11 atUltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center (off 163 Freeway & Friars Rd.).

Tickets are $10.00 General Audiences / $8.00 Students, Seniors, and Media Arts Center San Diego members. Individual tickets can be purchased prior to each screening at the UltraStar Mission Valley Cinemas at Hazard Center box office (7510 Hazard Center Dr., SD, CA 92108).
