February 9, 2011 (Santee) – State Route 67 (SR-67) will be closed in both directions between Prospect and Woodside in Santee Thursday night from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Three ramps will also be closed beginning one hour earlier at 8 p.m.: the northbound onramp from Bradley Avenue, the southbound on-ramp from Magnolia Avenue and the northbound off-ramp to Prospect Avenue.

Highway construction crews will place detour signs to assist motorists around the closures. The closure is needed for placement of concrete barriers as part of the State Route 52 Sunny Side Gateway Project to construct a new four-lane highway from SR-52/SR-125 to SR-67 in Santee.
