Outages

In the past SDG&E would provide a likely cause for electric outages, a fallen tree, car hit pole (CHP, ha ha) or even fess up and admit to windy weather being the culprit. Like when wildfires were started by their arcing power lines. Today SDG&E's stock answer is "SDG&E is assessing the outage to determine the cause." Yeah, right. The current Outage Map reports over 10,000 customers without electricity in their service area. Ten Thousand. https://www.sdge.com/safety/outages/outage-map Wind in the East county is currently gusting from 40 MPH to 60 in the mountain areas.
