INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE TO BE CELEBRATED SEPT. 16 IN LA MESA

August 1, 2018 (La Mesa) – The Interfaith Council of La Mesa is sponsoring its fifth annual peace and justice event as part of the International Day of Peace on Sunday, September 16th from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the La Mesa Community Center, 4975 Memorial Drive in La Mesa.

August 13, 2017 (La Mesa) – The Interfaith Council of La Mesa invites the public to join millions of people around the world participating in activities to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace on September 17th. The La Mesa event will be held starting at 3 p.m. in Aztec Park, 7945 Morocco Drive, La Mesa.

September 17, 2016  (La Mesa)--The Interfaith Council of La Mesa is celebrating it's 3rd annual International Day of Peace in La Mesa on Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. in Aztec Park (7945 Morocco Drive) as part of a global effort.  All are welcome at the event, which aims to bring awareness to “the need to promote peace, unity and good will in both local and global communities.”  (View flyer)
