June 1, 2009 (El Cajon)-- The Rancho San Diego Jamul Chamber of Commerce is having its second annual golf tournament and networking event on June 26th. “Come join the fun. Last year’s event was a blast and this year is going to top it,” pledged Valerie Harrison, president. Guests who don’t golf or can’t attend are urged to sponsor a wounded veteran to play by calling the Chamber office at 670-8244. Harrison added, “We want to make this the best day for a wounded soldier to enjoy a day of golf, a reception dinner, lots of fun contests such as a poker run, guess your drive, putting contest, and lots more!” A Chamber breakfast and networking mixer will be held from 9:00 am till 10:30. Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. Following the tournament a dinner reception with raffles and a silent auction will take place in the Cottonwood Golf Events Facility. Golf and dinner packages cost $135.00 per person or $500.00 per foursome. Refreshments will be provided throughout the course to all participants.
