Otay Lakes Park, 2270 Wueste R., Chula Vista will have a Leave No Trace Ranger Program each Saturday through Jan. 26 at 11 a.m.  Join Ranger Bob for a special camping and hiking class that will include some easy hiking, fun games and role playing.

Spring Valley Community Center, 8735 Jamacha Blvd., Spring Valley will hold Monday Night Bingo at 6:15 & 6:30 p.m.  The bingo profits allow the center to offer programs such as camps and senior activities.

Sweetwater Summit Regional Park, 3218 Summit Meadow Rd., Bonita has Ranger led walks every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The walk is a 3 mile stretch with fascinating information about plants and wildlife that surround the trail.

Sycamore Canyon/Goodan Ranch Preserve, 16281 Sycamore Canyon Rd. Poway will have a Star Party at sunset January 18.  The San Diego Astronomers Association volunteer astronomers and park staff will host a night under the stars using the same technology the professionals use.

William Heise County Park, 4945 Heise Park Rd., Jullian has Ranger led hikes each Sunday through Feb. 24 at 10:30 a.m.  The hikes are moderate but may be cancelled if weather is not agreeable.
