A JAZZY TREAT: FREE CONCERT BY SAN DIEGO CLARINET QUINTET AT MISSION TRAILS THIS SUNDAY

January 12, 2012 (San Diego’s East County) – The San Diego Clarinet Quintet will perform a free concert this Sunday, January 15 at 3 p.m. at Mission Trails Regional Park. These talented musicians have performed with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Ballet, San Diego Opera, and Starlight Opera.

Their dazzling technique and versatility include classical chamber music of Mozart and Debussy as well as jazz favorites by Duke Ellington, Scott Joplin ragtime and the music of George Gershwin.

The event is part of a free concert series held the third Sunday of each month. Concerts are performed either in the Visitor Center theater or in the ampitheater. Mission Trails Regional Park is the nation’s largest urban park, providing a spectacular natural setting.
