JULIAN HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE LAUNCHED

December 1, 2009 – Julian, CA: Many families are in crisis this year.  To help families provide a happy holiday for the family, Jeremy’s on the Hill, California Style Bistro is sponsoring a toy and food drive for families in Julian in conjunction with Pathways, a non-profit student and family support center that works with disadvantaged families in Julian.

 

Non –perishable food and unwrapped toys may be brought to the restaurant located at 4354 Highway 78 between Santa Ysabel and Julian. Additionally, gift cards are being collected for the older children. No time to shop? Monetary donations are also being accepted which will be converted to gift cards for the families. Or, simply mail your gift to PO Box 1026, Julian, CA 92036.

“The holidays are a time of giving and we have been so blessed this year, we are happy to share with our friends and neighbors,” said Brigida Williams, Chef Jeremy’s sister. “We will be providing dinners at the restaurant for some of our local families in need that are working Pathways so they have an opportunity to enjoy an evening out together,” said Chef Jeremy Manley. Jeremy’s on the Hill is committed to sponsoring at least six families for a full dinner.
