June 25, 2013 (Borrego Springs) - Hotel Managers Group (HMG Hotels) and Casa Del Zorro LLC., the ownership and management team for La Casa Del Zorro Hotel and Resort in Borrego Springs, CA. recently announced that Lure Agency and Jen Roche PR have been selected as social media marketing and public relations agencies of record respectively. The two agencies will work in concert to rebuild the brand of the iconic property, which will reopen in fall 2013.

A historic jewel of Borrego Springs, La Casa Del Zorro is one of Southern California’s most famous destination resorts.  Originally opened in 1937, the property grew from a single adobe structure to a 67 room, 42 acre retreat that families generations over have traveled to visit. La Casa Del Zorro was forced to close its doors in 2010, but this year will reopen under HMG Hotels, a San Diego based hotel management company founded by distinguished hotelier Jack Giacomini.

Lure Agency, a “TraDigital” marketing company based in San Diego, was selected by HMG Hotels to create and deploy marketing support including: strategy, social media, content creation and media planning. Lure Agency will adapt methods from prior successful property relaunches which are instrumental in increasing awareness, revitalizing the brand and ultimately attracting guests to this legendary desert retreat.

As the public relations agency of record for La Casa Del Zorro, Jen Roche PR will spearhead all consumer-facing public relations and branding efforts as the property reopens. Through a variety of traditional and nontraditional media campaigns, Jen Roche PR will handle press outreach, events, media partnerships and more to help reopen La Casa Del Zorro with the press attention, style and elegance it deserves.

HMG attributes selection of these two agencies to their wide breadth and depth of experience and to the obvious passion they display for hotel and lifestyle PR and marketing.
