LA MESA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PREPARES FOR 4TH ANNUAL “TASTE OF LA MESA – TASTE OF THE CENTURY” JUNE 11

May 1, 2012 (La Mesa) --  The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce announced that the fourth annual “Taste of La Mesa - Taste of the Century” event will be held on June 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the La Mesa Community Center, 4975 Memorial Drive, La Mesa. This year the Chamber has added “Taste of the Century” to celebrate the City of La Mesaʼs 100th Anniversary.

The evening allows guests to sample fare from many local restaurants and food providers, as well as winetasting and craft beers.

To date this year’s participants are: Anthonyʼs Fish Grotto, Antique Row Cafe of Lemon Grove, Auntie Mʼs CupnʼCake Bakery, Cali Comfort Restaurant & Sports Bar, Casa De Pico, Continental Catering, Edible Arrangements, El Torito - La Mesa, Gingham, Grove Pastry Shop, Himalayan Cuisine, Hooleys Irish Pub & Grill, La Torta Cafe, Marcella Juneʼs Coffee Lounge, Riviera Supper Club, Roundtable Pizza - La Mesa, Rubios Fresh Mexican Grill, San Diego Desserts, Sycuan Casino, Terra American Bistro, Tarantino Gourmet Sausages, The Brigantine of La Mesa, The Lunch Box Cafe & Deli, The Village House Kalina, and Trattoria Tiramisu.

Karl Strauss Brewing Company is the exclusive beer sponsor of the evening. San Pasqual Winery will pour its popular wines and to add variety, it will also pour its special Sangria.

The event is open to the public with a VIP ticket price of $50 that allows these ticket holders to have an early tasting from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., prior to the general admission attendees arriving at 6 p.m. and preferred parking.
