April 29, 2015 (La Mesa) -- The City of La Mesa has once again updated its economic development webpage with refreshed Commercial Space Availability Reports. According to the most recent reports, dated April 2015, there is approximately 146,000 square feet of retail space available in the City; 150,000 square feet of office space; and 37,000 square feet of industrial space.  Retail vacancy is down over 20% from April 2014 and office vacancy is down roughly 14%.

The reports inventory commercial (retail, office, industrial) spaces in La Mesa that are available for lease.  The City has been preparing these reports, based on surveys of property owners and active real estate brokers, twice each year since 2010.  The City hopes that its website can serve to connect owners and brokers with space to lease and parties that are looking to open or expand a business in La Mesa.

The reports provide users with property address, square footage available, asking lease rate and contact information for the owner or broker.  They can be downloaded or printed by visiting the City’s website at www.cityoflamesa.com, clicking the “Business” tab, and then selecting “Commercial Vacancies."

The next update is schedule for October 2015.
