June 21, 2017 (La Mesa) -- Lamplighters Community Theatre presents Women in Jeopardy! This new comedy by Wendy MacLeod, directed by Rob Conway, will run July 7-30 at Lamplighters Theatre in La Mesa.

Divorcees Mary and Jo are suspicious of their friend Liz's new dentist boyfriend in this new comedy by Wendy MacLeod. He may look a bit creepy, but is there really anything to worry about? The fact that his oral hygienist was recently murdered could be just a coincidence. Imaginations run wild as the pair trade their wine glasses for spy glasses and set off on a hilarious off-road adventure to learn the truth. This romp brings with it some serious Thelma and Louise-meets-The First Wives Club fun.

"The laughs in Wendy MacLeod’s play... come fast and furious. Women in Jeopardy! ...offers a new work that’s modern, lively, and loads of fun." -- The Boston Globe

"Women in Jeopardy! is a damn winner. The audience roared -- big time... At its heart, "Women in Jeopardy!" is comedy gold." -- Kevin Carr, Rochester City Paper.
