DIRECTORS, PRODUCERS IN SPOTLIGHT AT LATINO FILM FESTIVAL’S OPENING NIGHT

March 14, 2022 (San Diego)-- The Latino Film Festival officially kicked off with an opening event on March 10, with several producers and directors of films present.  Among them was Luis Reyes, who directed the film Pepe Serna Life is Art, a documentary film which premiered at the festival.

GROSSMONT COLLEGE HOSTS FREE LATINO FILM FESTIVAL

September 20, 2016 (El Cajon) - As part of Latino Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15), Grossmont College is presenting a Latino Film Festival, with free, public screenings of films that explore Latino/a culture and history at 7 p.m. every Tuesday evening Sept. 20-Oct. 11 in Building 26, Room 220.

HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATED AT GROSSMONT AND CUYAMACA COLLEGES

 

September 11, 2015 (El Cajon)--The Grossmont College Latino Film Festival and a Cuyamaca College Latino Heritage Celebration highlight an array of special events honoring Hispanic Heritage Month at the two East County colleges beginning Sept. 15.

All of the events are free and open to the public.

LATINO FILM FESTIVAL ISSUES CALL FOR ENTRIES

 

June 25, 2015 (San Diego)--The San Diego Latino Film Festival has issued a call for entries for its 2016 event. The deadlines are September 11 for early entry, October 9 normal entry, and November 13, late entry. Entry fees range from $15-$25 for early entries up to $40-60 for late entries.

The 23rd annual festival will be held March 10-20, 2016. The festival seeks entries for short films and feature films. Last year’s festival was attended by an audience of 21,500 actively-engaged film lovers, filmmakers, actors, programmers, distributors, industry representatives, and journalists.

JAIME CAMIL'S 200 CARTAS, COMEDY OPENS FRIDAY! (APRIL 18 - 24)
