February 25, 2012 (La Mesa)-- San Diego County Library is partnering with the San Diego chapter of the Romance Writers of America (RWA San Diego) to bring romance authors to local readers.   All authors will be signing books for fans, and select titles will be available for sale.  On Saturday, February 25 at 1 p.m, romance authors Jill Limber, Georgie Lee, Toni Noel, and Terry Blain will be at the La Mesa City Council Chambers (next door to the La Mesa Library), 8130 Allison Ave.

The romance genre is the second most popular genre at San Diego County Library and is characterized by a central love story and an emotionally-satisfying, optimistic ending. According to the RWA, romance fiction had the largest share of the U.S. book publisher consumer market in 2010 at 13.4%.

"RWA San Diego is excited to bring local San Diego authors together with readers to chat about the romance genre," said Lisa Kessler, President of RWA San Diego. "We hope you'll be able to join us to talk about love and the books that promise a Happily Ever After."
