April 23, 2017 (La Mesa) – At the Helix Water Board meeting on Wednesday, the board will discuss funding for Harry Griffen Park in La Mesa, at the request of director Mark Gracyk.  For the past five years, Helix has contributed 35 percent of the park’s operation and maintenance costs. Last year, that amounted to $158,629 donated by Helix.

The Board will also announce winners of its annual high school photography contest, titled “San Diego Water Colors.” The winning works will be on display throughout the summer in the lobby.

The Water Conservation Garden will also make a presentation to the board.

The Board meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 at the Helix Water Board headquarters, 7811 University Avenue, La Mesa 91942.
