MOTHER’S BOYFRIEND ARRESTED FOR MURDER OF ALPINE TOT

December 9, 2016 (Alpine) -- Detectives with the Sheriff's Homicide Detail and the Fugitive Task Force have arrested Alpine resident Wiliey Foster in connection with the death of 18 month-old Leah Brown-Meza. Foster is the live-in boyfriend of the baby’s mother.

Foster was taken into custody early this morning at their home on Hunter Lane. He will be booked into the San Diego County Jail on a single count of murder, according to Lieutenant Kenneth Nelson.

The Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the death of Leah Brown-Meza a homicide. The cause of death was from multiple blunt force trauma. The remainder of the autopsy details remain sealed.
